There have been some complaints about the city water earlier this week as the water department made adjustments to disinfectant levels. The chlorine residuals remain within the state and federal requirements (0.5 to 4.0 total) since the boil water notice was lifted on Saturday evening. The water is tested daily at different points within the system and all results have been no lower than 0.5 and no higher than 2.7. 2.7 is higher than we are used to but still within acceptable range. If you are still experiencing problems please do not hesitate to call City Hall so that we can address the issue. Or if you have any questions we would love to answer them. It is the city's goal to bring you quality drinking water that is safe and tasteful.
